Sunset Stone Adds Territory Sales Manager for CO, WY, NM

Sunset Stone is pleased to announce the addition of Julie Johnson, who joins the company as Territory Sales Manager for the Colorado Front Range.

Julie brings nearly a decade of experience in commercial flooring and building materials, with a strong background supporting the architecture and design community. Throughout her career, she has partnered with architects, designers, and contractors to guide projects from initial concept through final installation, building strong, lasting relationships along the way.

In her new role, Julie will be driving sales growth across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, including Wyoming and New Mexico. She will focus on developing and supporting relationships within the design community, serving as a resource for product selection, project coordination, and overall client support. Her experience and collaborative approach will help strengthen Sunset Stone’s presence within the architectural and design space.

Prior to joining Sunset Stone, Julie held roles with leading flooring manufacturers including Armstrong Flooring and Mohawk Group, where she managed commercial accounts and worked closely with design professionals across a wide range of project types.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys staying active with swing dancing, pickleball, golf, biking, and skiing throughout Colorado.

Sunset Stone Welcomes Financial Controller

Sunset Stone is pleased to announce the addition of Karen Ross, who joins the company as Financial Controller.

Karen brings more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong track record of driving strategic growth, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration. Throughout her career, she has served as a trusted business partner, aligning financial insights with organizational goals to support long-term success.

In her new role, Karen will oversee Sunset Stone’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. She will lead key financial functions such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, and month-end close processes, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Prior to joining Sunset Stone, Karen held accounting and finance positions with H&C Animal Health, Chuck Latham Associates, Bravada Partners, Merchants Mortgage and Trust Corporation, and Schuck Corporation. Her depth of experience across industries brings valuable perspective as Sunset Stone continues to grow and strengthen its foundation. Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time outdoors, going on adventures with her family, and cheering on NFL games alongside her loved ones and pets.
